I wanted to share my recipe for beef brisket, this is my all time favourite dish, it makes a great meal on a Sunday as you can use the leftovers for meals all week. Hope you enjoy it.
Ingredients
- 10 tsps. Paprika
- 4 tsps. Sea salt
- 4 tsps. garlic powder
- 4 tsps. onion powder
- 4 tsps. black pepper
- 3 whole dried chipotle peppers
- 2 tsps. cumin seeds
- 1 tsp. coriander seeds
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
Add all ingredients to Thermomix and grind 1 minute, speed 9.
Remove from Thermomix and place in storage container.
Take a 2 kg piece of beef brisket and rub approx. ½ cup for the spice mix over the entire brisket. Marinate at least 2 hours or ideally overnight.
Place in ovenproof dish and wrap in foil, so well sealed.
Cook at 150 – 160 degrees Celsius for five hours, until beef falls apart with a fork.
Serve with desired sides, my favorite is slaw with home made mayonnaise.
