Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 150 grams tomato paste (can make in Thermomix recipe below)
  • 4 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. cloves
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 100g coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp. mustard (Dijon or seeded)

Place peeled garlic cloves in Thermomix and chop 3 seconds, speed 7. Scrape down sides and add remaining ingredients to Thermomix, cook 10 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1.5 until thick.

Serve with any meat you like, but my favourite is slow cooked beef brisket.

Thermomix tomato paste

  • 800g tomatoes
  • 20 g coconut sugar
  • 20g olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf

Add all ingredients to Thermomix, chop 10 seconds, speed 8.
Scrape down sides. Place basket on lid of Thermomix, and cook 45 minutes, 115 degrees, REV, speed 2.
