One of my favourite winter drinks is Criobru. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend it. Criobru is ground cacao beans, roasted to bring out different flavours, makes a yummy hot chocolate drink when brewed like a coffee, but also great in recipes, which led me to create these delightful slices. I love the crunchy, salty, caramel like layer and it reminded me of a Snickers bar, hence the title. Snickery Bars, try not to eat them all at once!

  • 2 tbsp. Criobru
  • 2 tbsp. coconut Oil
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 150 grams ground almonds

For the base: Combine all in TM bowl and mix 10 secs, speed 5, until mixture comes together.

Set aside to cool (I stuck mine in the freezer).

Clean TM bowl and add tahini, coconut oil, and honey and cook 37 degrees, 2- 3 minutes, speed 1 until coconut oil melted. Mix 10 seconds, speed 5.  Add cashews and mix REV, 10 seconds, speed 2. Spread over base once base is cooled. Place in freezer to set.
For topping: place oil, honey and cacao in TM bowl and melt oil 37 degrees, 2-3 minutes, mix 20 secs, speed 5.
